FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Is the GOAT WALL durable enough for adults, or is it just for kids?
The GOAT WALL is engineered with high-quality, family-grade materials and is incredibly durable. It is built to safely support climbers up to 350 pounds, meaning it's strong enough for teens and adults to climb alongside their children.
Q: How difficult is the installation process?
We designed the installation to be surprisingly simple and efficient. The panels arrive pre-assembled, and your purchase includes a complete stud mounting kit. Most customers can complete the installation in just a few hours by mounting the panels and then connecting the simple, daisy-chained power wires.
Q: What are the size options and what is the difference between the two?
The GOAT WALL comes in two sizes: the 10-foot wide by 8-foot tall 4 Peaks Wall and the 8-foot wide by 8-foot tall 3 Peaks Wall. Both options offer the same high-end aesthetic and quality; the difference is purely the horizontal space required on your wall.
Q: How does the backlighting work, and what are the color options?
The wall features a unique, integrated backlighting system with three independently controlled zones (mountain, sun, and lake). You can use the included remote to select from a full spectrum of RGB colors for mood lighting, or choose a clean, sophisticated Natural White light.
Q: What is the wall made of?
The wall panels are crafted from premium birch wood, known for its strength, smooth finish, and beautiful grain, ensuring a high-end look and lasting durability.
Q: Do the climbing holds come with the wall?
The wall comes complete with a full set of climbing holds pre-installed.
Q: Is the Colored Epoxy option permanent?
Yes, the colored sections (for the sun, lake, snow peaks, etc.) are created using a high-quality, permanent epoxy resin that is integrated into the wood, ensuring the vibrant color remains rich and durable over time.
Q: Do I need a special electrical setup for the backlighting?
No. The backlighting system runs on a standard household outlet. It features a low-profile power connector and a simple daisy-chain wire system between the panels to keep the wiring seamless and hidden from view.
Q: How many boxes does the wall ship in, and are the panels heavy?
The 10' x 8' GOAT WALL configuration ships in 7 separate boxes (the 8' x 8' version ships in 5 boxes). The panels are designed to be manageable for two people, as they are pre-assembled and ready to be mounted directly to the wall studs.
